We have our first show back in four years tonight at the Southgate
House in the Parlour! 

You should come.

So, it's been 3 years and 7 months since my last post. Here is
what we have been up to... 

In June of 2005, I (Josh) was diagnosed with cancer (Non-Hodgkins
Lymphoma). I underwent 10 installments of chemo therapy, which
went until the end of December 2005. During that time, Existaria
didn't play any shows or even practice at all. We then took another
year off, and didn't get together again as a band until May 2007...
At that time, it was just Greg and I writing new material. Jeff came 
back soon after... however Mike Dewees, our bassist, decided
not to re-join the band. In September 2007 our good friend
Erin Guendelsberger joined us as our keyboardist, allowing
Greg to take up the Bass guitar. Since then, we have been
writing all new material to fit the new lineup. We hope to be able
to start playing shows again in March 2009... barring any unforseen 
setbacks. 

So the official lineup is:
Greg Jacobs: Vocals, Bass
Erin Guendelsberger: Keyboard
Jeff Trotta: Percussion
Josh Riffle: Guitar

Thanks to everyone who came to the show on the 23rd... we had a
great time! Thanks to Tiara and LUME for traveling through the crappy
weather and playing awesome sets!

Sorry for the delay of this post... Thanks to everyone who came out
to the February 5th show at the Southgate House. Special thanks
to LUME, Sleepybird, and Formerly Known As Nothing for playing 
with us... it was a good time!


Our next show will be:

Saturday April 23rd at the Southgate House in the Parlour (Newport, KY)
with, once again, our good friends LUME from Nashville, and TIARA
from Columbus! I am so very excited about this show... i love playing
with LUME, and I have always wanted to play a show with TIARA.

The lineup will be:

9:30    TIARA
10:30  Existaria
11:30  LUME

door opens at 8:30, $5, 21+

You should tell everyone you know to come to this show, as it will
be one that you and everyone you know will not want to miss!

Existaria will be playing our first show in 2005!

Saturday Feb. 5th at the Southgate House in the Parlour (Newport, KY)
Our good friends LUME are coming all the way from Nashville to play this
show with us, which is always rocktastic... also sleepybird (from Dayton, OH)
and Formerly Known as Nothing (from Maysville, KY) will be on the bill.
As you can imagine, you will not want to miss this fantastic event.
